Growth & Connection Assembly/Workshop
Interactive talks that help students build confidence, connection, and purpose.
Service Description
Today’s students are navigating pressure, disconnection, and uncertainty about who they are and where they’re going. Growth & Connection Assembly/Workshop delivers high energy, interactive experiences that help students build confidence, strengthen relationships, and see themselves as contributors to their school and community. Led by speaker and mentor Jordan Washington, these sessions go beyond motivation. Each experience blends storytelling, student interaction, and practical frameworks that meet young people where they are, helping them reflect, engage, and take ownership of their growth. Jordan draws from his own journey of earning a full ride scholarship for leadership and academics, navigating identity and adversity, and working with youth across diverse communities to connect authentically with students. His approach emphasizes progress over perfection, belonging through ownership, and the power of connection in an increasingly disconnected world. Growth & Connection Assembly/Workshop is designed for middle and high school assemblies, small group workshops and classrooms, and leadership programs and youth organizations. Students walk away with greater self awareness and confidence, tools to navigate challenges and setbacks, a stronger sense of belonging and purpose, and motivation to take action in their school and community. Each session can be customized to align with your school’s goals and themes, whether that is leadership, resilience, community building, or personal growth. Experiences can be delivered in person or virtually and range from keynote style assemblies to interactive workshops with discussion and reflection. If you are looking for an experience that does more than inspire for the moment and instead equips students with language, mindset, and ownership they can carry forward, Growth & Connection Assembly/Workshop is built to make a lasting impact.
